Marketlia

Marketlia was a passion project I started in 2019/2020 to put my self-taught marketing skills to use. I was in the midst of trying to career jump into the industry and I needed a portfolio of sorts to get real internship work. I started writing about what I was learning, which also helped solidify the concepts in my head, and made accompanying social media posts to share on an Instagram page.

After a while, I put more focus on the social media side when I realized there was a large community of likeminded young women on Instagram who were creating similar content. I still put out new blog content, though less frequently, and built a community of over 3,000 followers completely organically through consistent posting and building relationships in the community.

I have since let go of Marketlia as it served its intended purpose of helping me get my first real marketing job, but I look back fondly to this time and my work.

The website is no longer available, but the Marketlia Instagram page is still live and gaining followers organically.
